Last Thursday, Dine in Dublin launched its eighth year of the foodie festival with an exhibit of Dublin’s finest?culinary offerings. DublinTown hosted some of the media landscape’s keenest foodies offering a tasting menu curated by six of the city’s top chefs and live demonstrations from chefs such as Andrew Rudd.

The menu included offerings from Michael Collier, head chef of Zaragoza (a Tapa de Queso de Cabra – a honey glazed spinach and goat’s cheese filo and crispy duck filo with almonds and cranberry sauce), and San Lorenzo’s Temple Garner (porchetta, slow roast gremolata stuffed pork belly with creamed cavolo nero, apricot agro-dolce and duck fat roasties).

Debbie O’Donnell of TV3, Richard Guiney, CEO of DublinTown, Clyde Carroll, marketing director of DublinTown, journalist Vicki Notaro, restaurant promoter Anthony Remedy and stylist Corina Gaffey, Henry Daly, marketing manager of Press Up, Sarah Murphy and Robin Clifford of Air BnB and many more were in attendance. Guests sipped on cocktails from The Liquor Room and enjoyed wine chosen by Fallon & Byrne’s head sommelier Scott Findlay.

This year’s Dine in Dublin festival runs Monday 22nd until Sunday 28th February and features a host of special offers from over 65 participating restaurants this year, including pop-up endeavour the Dine Pavilion, which will run for a total of 5 days. At the Dine Pavilon the public will soak up the flavour of the festival whilst watching contributing chefs create customised meals.
