Guests were treated to an exclusive presentation of the new collection by M&S Style Director Belinda Earl in the M&S Grafton Street, Rooftop Cafe. Marks & Spencer SS17 exhibits flair and confidence, through five key eloquent and contemporary trends – Earth, Craftwork, Havana, Simply Elevated and The Event Edit.
The womenswear collections celebrate style, design and innovation, depicting a maturity across the season. A warm palette of khakis, rust and ochre introduce Spring, alongside soft denim blush and crisp whites. The arrival of Summer sees bold desert colours and vivid prints complement simple silhouettes and elegant styling.
When attention shifts towards event and occasion dressing, the sartorial mood is elevated. Metallics, powder pastels, statement whites and botanic florals, create a timeless and elegant aesthetic, perfect for all occasions.
Guests enjoyed an elegant, spring inspired breakfast including M&S breakfast pots and Lochmuir salmon blinis and a selection of smoothie shots. They were later treated to complimentary manicures and mini make-overs by leading make-up brand Stila before departing with an M&S bespoke goody bag filled with the latest spring summer accessories.
