Last week saw the launch of new premium Irish gin, Bonac 24, with an after-hours brunch on the rooftop terrace of The Woollen Mills. Guests including Roz Purcell and artist Maser celebrated with gin cocktails that were paired with tasty brunch bites, including sweet and savoury waffles, clean nachos and bacon butties, followed by a refreshing, palate-cleansing Bonac 24 gin and tonic sorbet.

Guests sampled the Bonac Snapper, a gin Bloody Mary, the Gin Spritz and the classic Bonac 24 G&T garnished with a choice of mint and lime, raspberry and mint or pink grapefruit at the cocktail station. Summer-time tunes were spun by Daniella Moyles at the DJ booth. Other party-goers included jewellery designer Chupi Sweetman-Durney, model Irma Mali and fashion stylist Brian Conway.

Bonac 24 was created by entrepreneur Gavin Clifford and his father Michael. They crafted in very small batches at their artisan distillery using the finest ingredients, before being carefully bottled, corked and labelled by hand.
