Ireland’s Hair and Beauty Oscars shone brightly as the highly anticipated IMAGE Business of Beauty Awards took place, and what a night it was.

The winners were announced tonight, Sunday, April 9th, at the fourth annual IMAGE Business of Beauty Awards, in association with Flormar and Boots, at The Clayton Hotel, Burlington Road, Dublin 4. We donned our finest gowns to recognise Ireland’s best beauty therapists and hairdressers as well as the country’s standout hair salons, beauty salons and skincare clinics and beauty brands.

The nominations for #imageBOB17 were put to you, our loyal readers earlier this year, you then voted in your droves – over 200,000 of you! – for your favourite hair stylist, the best nail technician and much more. Now, after a truly amazing night?? where we trended for its entirety – hosted by the always dapper?Darren Kennedy?and our own lovely IMAGE Magazine editor-in-chief, Melanie Morris ??? we can happily reveal the IMAGE Business of Beauty 2017 winners. Hurrah!

Also?at the event were Marks & Spencer marketing manager Carmel Breheny, IMAGE Publications CEO Clodagh Edwards, Head of Marketing for Boots Ireland, Gillian Hennessey, bloggers Suzanne Jackson, and former BOB winner, Pippa O’Connor.

The evening, dubbed as Ireland’s hair and beauty Oscars, had plenty to entertain. On arrival, guests were welcomed with bespoke Tanqueray gin and KetelOne vodka cocktails, created by Diageo’s award-winning mixologists ?? we tried (many of) them; they were out out-of-this-world amazing. Then, over a scrumptious three-course dinner, with wine from Marks & Spencer, a host of fabulous spot prizes were awarded to lucky guests.

In celebration of the #IMAGEBob17 awards, our sponsor BOOTS have kindly given us an amazing €200 voucher to give away to one lucky reader! Visit our Facebook page tonight at 10PM for your chance to win.
