There was a full house in Brown Thomas Dublin’today for the start of their much-anticipated Days In Denim event – a 16-day extravaganza celebrating the acid wash to the indigo, and everything in between. Fashion and lifestyle influencer Erika Fox AKA Retro Flame was there to kickstart proceedings with IMAGE Editor in Chief Melanie Morris and amid the rails and rails of jeans -16,255 pairs across 250 styles and 11 must-have brands to be exact – and prosecco, the talk was all things denim.
Erika spoke of her first foray?into designer denim “a pair of Victoria Beckham jeans I bought in Brown Thomas” and how a quality pair was always worth investing in. She also let attendees in on her top tips for updating and styling a modern denim look. “My ultimate styling tip?is to pair denim with a simple white T-shirt and a tailored blazer. It might sound simple, but effective. It’s one of my all-time?favourite?looks for daytime.?When buying denim, comfort is key. Make sure you choose a style that suits your body shape and feel great. It’s key to choose a pair you can move freely in.”
