We already know how good it is, and Horgan has been on the publicity trail to big it up while at the same time proving she is the craic, on screen, and off. Listen to her talk about parental bribery. THERE IS A TAMPON OF THE FUTURE
And it could be incredible. According to the New York Times, an engineer at Harvard, Ridhi Tariyal, along with her partner Stephen Gire, has found a way to capture menstrual flow and use it for medical samples. This could give vital information on anything from early warnings of cancer to reproductive diseases.
The piece also noted that most tampons and pads have been developed by men, who weren’t really interested in how uncomfortable they were. This, however, was not news.
