Skincare enthusiasts were out in force last night for Brown Thomas’ special skin care panel at their Wild Beauty rooftop destination. IMAGE contributing editor Melanie Morris was joined by Dr. Katherine Mulrooney, The Skin Nerd herself, Jennifer Rock, and straight from Brown Thomas’ beauty lounge, Elena Costello. Together they proved to be the ultimate combination as they dived into the world of skin and shared their top tips and tricks to the lucky attendees, where they learnt an important lesson, that it’s about being skindividual, as everyone is different.

The skin is our biggest organ, so it needs to be treated with the same love and respect as any organ in our body. Cleanse, tone and moisturise, wear SPF, and remember to feed your skin from within with the addition of lotions and potions. Stress is BAD for your skin and causes your hormone levels to spike, so remember to stay as relaxed as possible. Antioxidants and water is also a must in order to keep us feeling fresh-faced.

All the lucky guests were welcomed with toons and treats (wild-inspired macaroons, of course) and parted with a fabulous gift bag, which included: Mac prep and prime, Face inc sheet mask, Victor & Rolf flowerbomb perfume, and a gorgeous sample of Aurella cell revitalise night moisturiser.
