THE MOOD?Where better than Ireland to find inspiration from nature’s own palette for the perfect bridal theme? For soft beauty, pair milky pink with duck egg blue for the perfect balance between warm and cool tones. Adding rich florals in berry shades injects a pop of contemporary colour, keeping the look pretty and fresh but still strong. The juxtaposition of different textures adds intrigue to the details. A sweeping tulle veil gives ethereal drama to loose, organic hair – and a found blossom branch, in lieu of a bouquet, grounds the look for the perfect modern bride.

Stationery by Appleberry Press /?Crepe Louise gown with illusion lace back, Tara Keely, €2,170 from Alice May / Tankardstown House interiors
A bespoke stationery suite designed by Appleberry Press reflects the secret garden theme beautifully through invitations, hand-drawn location map, personalised venue envelopes and menus. A braided up-do is ideal for outdoor, warm-weather weddings, keeping your hair in check and off your neck and face. It’s also the ideal option to show off a dress with a statement back. The braid can then be undone later to fall into soft, loose waves.
Plunging neckline gown with silk petal accents, Annocha by Anna Georgina, €2,400 from The Attic Bridalwear Boutique
