Our Saturday Review

The week was full of surprises. From Lidl schooling us all in ninja PR skills and revealing our inherent prejudices around food, to the unexpected appearance of Lycra and pinkness all over town in honour of the Giro D’Italia. Food snobbery was on our minds also, when talking to Darina Allen earlier in the week, she revealed how she’s far from giving up the ghost, and is as politically active as ever – not just any ole Julia Child.

We have been blessed, feeling replenished and healed by these long weekends we’ve been enjoying, but alas, it could not last. Here’s what happened on image.ie this week in spite of its brevity – it was a short and sweet one! They’re ideal fodder for filling those interminable gaps between Eurovision acts (oh and stay tuned as we let you know what to expect and where to watch the finals…)
