Ruth Hetherington
CEO and creator, Miss Fit Skinny Tea

Ruth Hetherington is the owner and creator of the triple award winning Teatox, Miss Fit Skinny Tea. She started her business in 2015 after months of selling loom bands at weekends to get her seed capital. Her business has just turned over €1 million and her products are stocked in almost 2,000 pharmacies & health stores in Ireland & the UK. The Miss Fit team now consists of 8 people. She recently created her second product, The D by Miss Fit Skinny Tea, which is a high strength formulation of the much-needed vitamin D and that has been nominated for an award already. Her third product will launch in May of this year and she aims to have a range of supplements by the end of year.

Nicki Hoyne
Founder, MyShiningArmour.com

Nicki Hoyne, born and raised in Kilkenny has worked in Dublin and London with brands such as Nintendo, Selfridges, Marc Jacobs, Chlo? and Calvin Klein. In 2013, she returned to Ireland to start her online store My Shining Armour, an online accessories and gifting store based in Kilkenny stocking everything from jewellery to stationery and cool homewares. It has its own branded lines as well as stocking kate spade new york, ban.do and Helen Moore, has shipped to 33 countries on 5 continents and appeared in Vogue, Cosmopolitan, Elle and Grazia. Nicki was nominated for IMAGE Magazine Businesswoman Of The Year Awards 2016 in the start-up category and My Shining Armour is nominated for?Best Online in the Xpos??Fafinder?Awards 2017. Last year’s nominations included?Best Irish Independent Retailer at the?KFW Awards?2016 and Best Accessories in the Xpos? Frockadvisor Awards 2016.

Amy set up her first marketing and PR agency at the tender age of 24 focusing on lifestyle brands in the areas of fashion, beauty, interiors and travel.
