IMAGE hosted an early morning networking breakfast?at The Merrion Hotel in late February for 80 Irish businesswomen from all over the country. Minister of State for European Affairs, Lucinda Creighton opened the event, speaking about the importance of networking and women empowering each other before IMAGE editor Melanie Morris interviewed Whelan about her her career in international luxury retail and at Leicester City Football Club. After a Q&A session with guests, speakers and attendees mingled over a delicious breakfast buffet of croissants, fruit skewers, coffees and teas, courtesy of The Merrion. All agreed it was a wonderful start to the day and the first of many IMAGE Networking Breakfasts to come. The next event, sponsored by Brown Thomas and Enterprise Ireland, will focus on Digital and Social Media and Your Business. It features a panel of industry experts April 23rd at the newly revamped Morrison Hotel.
