The Galway Bay Hotel played host to a style extravaganza last month, as the Irish Friends of Albania celebrated its fifth annual fashion show to raise funds for renovating orphanages and setting up a microsurgery-teaching laboratory in Albania. Before the show, guests including?First Lady Sabina Higgins, Mayor of Galway Terry O?Flaherty and members of Galway’s business and medical communities nibbled canapes then it was time to view the fashion edit from Brown Thomas, Treasure Chest, Colette Latchford, Squisito and Emily Jean Millinery. The four male models were medics from Galway’s university Hospital, which made the evening all the more entertaining.
