The Fringe pandemonium that takes over Dublin’s Temple Bar in September each year is one of the most exciting events in the cultural calendar. Programme manager Emma Hannon is at the helm of Ireland’s largest multi-disciplinary arts festival.

?We’re very close to everything in the festival, which is really inspiring; the work is literally being made upstairs by artists at Fringe HQ as we plan the festival downstairs,? she tells Jo Linehan. For Emma, the months leading up to the festival involve curating and nurturing works created by Irleand’s best and brightest up-and-coming talent. ?This year we’re focusing on revealing new truths about Dublin city. It’ll be a meeting point between brave, talented artists and an adventurous audience, willing to take risks and looking to be inspired.?
