This is something we were a tad surprised to see, but it’s a good thing nonetheless. Despite the word around the campfire being that Kris Jenner, now ex-wife of Caitlyn Jenner, wasn’t hugely in favour of Caitlyn’s now completed transition into a woman, things seem to be on an even keel between the pair.
This weekend, the entire Kardashian/Jenner family came together to celebrate Kris Jenner’s 18th Birthday (who else can’t believe she’s only 18?) and it was here that both women were snapped together for the first time since Caitlyn revealed herself to the world back in July.
Both women were said to be at odds with one another with Caitlyn claiming that Kris did not support her decision, but both were seemingly happy to be snapped by Kim at the family gathering in Nobu Restaurant in Malibu for the youngest Jenner’s coming of age celebrations.
Here’s the snap:
To be honest, we think Kris hasn’t been given enough credit for how she has dealt with the whole thing. Regardless of Caitlyn’s claims, Kris didn’t publicly say anything against the transition and when asked what she thought of the now famous Vanity Fair cover, she had this to say: ?I think it’s amazing,? said Kris. ?I think that someone following their dream is truly inspirational to a lot of people?. you have to do what makes you happy.? She added that she hadn’t read the Vanity Fair interview, but said the cover was ?beautiful.?
We think that you can’t get much nicer than that. And just as it was a massive thing for Caitlyn to transition, it can’t have been easy for Kris. The former couple were married for over 20 years, so it is quite a change to process. Regardless, we didn’t think they’d be seen photographed together for quite a while, so the snap surprised quite a few.
What do you think of the snap? We think it’s nice to see both of them obviously making an effort for their youngest daughter.
Also, Kylie’s Birthday looked amazing.
