Blazing Sunshine for Ireland?

Finally. The words we’ve been DYING to write for weeks now; the unsettled weather, dear friends, is due to improve. With the Leaving Cert now well underway, we’re more than due a sunny spell. This week, the sun will be making a long overdue appearance, with temperatures expected to go beyond 20 degrees. Altogether now: wahoooooo!

Time to uncover last year’s holiday suncream from the depths of your dusty suitcase and prepare yourself for some lunch break sunbathing. Met Eireann reassure us that at least up until Thursday, there won’t be much more than the occasional shower to be had. If it’s genuine summer vibes you’re after, however, word on the street says you’re best off heading west, where temperatures are expected to reach highs of 20 and beyond.

A sign of things to come, we hope.

In the mean time, browse our summer collections for some style inspiration; after weeks of unseasonably cold – yet typically Irish – weather, chances are you’ll be a little rusty when it comes to traditional June attire.
