The seaside town of Howth provided a warm welcome as 120 guests gathered in Aqua restaurant for a special fashion show hosted by Lois Bridges, Ireland’s only dedicated treatment centre for people with eating disorders. The show, featuring designs from Fran & Jane and Avoca, was suitably held during Eating Disorder Awareness Week. Guests Jacinta Hastings, Ruth Brennan (designer for Fran & Jane), Dr Marie McLoughlin, clinical director of Lois Bridges, Bernice Moran of Be Sweet Occasions and Angie Drumgoole of Zeba Hairdressing’sipped champagne while enjoying the stunning sea views before sitting down to a delicious three-course lunch of chicken liver p?t?, pan-fried fillet of salmon, and chocolate tart. A raffle raised just over €2,500 for Bodywhys, the national charity for eating disorders, with hampers from Zeba and Avoca along with a grand prize of a party in a VIP room at The Wright Venue.
