This week our judging panel gathered at The Cliff Townhouse on St. Stephens Green for our annual judging lunch for the selection of the 10th IMAGE Businesswoman of the Year winners from nine categories plus the over-all Businesswoman of the Year 2016. Celebrating our 10th?year of the IMAGE Businesswoman of the Year Awards we aim to recognise and celebrate inspirational women across all areas of the Irish business world. This year our judges had the difficult task of choosing winners out of 90 shortlisted nominees.

Our judges this year include, in the chair, Ann Reihill, director at IMAGE Publications; Bobby Kerr, entrepreneur and presenter of Newstalk’s Down to Business; Melanie Morris, editor-in-chief of IMAGE Magazine; Sarita Johnston, manager Female Entrepreneurship, Enterprise Ireland; Orla Nugent, MBA programme director?from?UCD Michael Smurfit Graduate Business School; Rosaleen McMeel, editor of IMAGE Magazine; Lucy Gaffney, Chairperson of Communicorp; Caroline Kennedy, founder Kennedy PR + Brand; Nick Mulcahy, publisher and editor of Business Plus; Laura George, group editorial director at IMAGE Publications; Dearbhail McDonald, group business editor, Independent News and Media ; Clodagh Edwards, CEO of IMAGE Publications and Breege O’Donoghue, Brand Ambassador, Primark.

The competition?was fierce for these highly coveted accolades and selection of winners was far from easy but?eventually,?the very best from an amazing collection of women were selected.
