Sleepless Skin Savers

Sleepless Skin Savers

When all else fails, fake rested skin with these anti-fatigue helpers

1. Est?e Lauder Idealist Cooling Eye Illuminator, €56

When we’re sleep deprived, we tend to retain sodium, which can swell under the eyes. A few swoops of this nifty applicator around the eye orbital bone will help shift that excess fluid away, while the stimulating formula deflates and detracts from the look of bags.

2. Nip+Fab Energy Boost Body Wash, €33

Some days, just feeling awake?is half the battle. Inhaling this cocktail of stimulating citrus scents in the shower helps blow some of the cobwebs away.

3. Eyecicles, €175

These work on a similar premise to submerging a tired, puffy face in an ice bucket, but much less dramatic. These glass rollers, which you keep in the fridge, are designed to massage the eye area, but can also be used over the entire face. Follow the advised acupressure rolling method of massage to help the blood vessels under the skin expand and contract, immediately stimulating blood flow, boosting oxygen and flushing out unwanted fluid build-up.

4. Bliss Triple Oxygen Instant Energizing Mask, €43

This brightening formula fizzes?up on impact and uses every technology in the book to furnish you with a fresher, younger-looking face. Wash off after three minutes for results that last ?til bedtime.

5. This Works Sleep Balm, €33

Created by beauty guru and self-confessed insomniac Kathy Phillips, this balm?of therapeutic relaxants – lavender, rose, monoi and coconut oil, when applied to pulse points and temples helps relieve the tension caused by sleeplessness.

6. Rodial Dragon’s Blood Hyaluronic Mask, €33

Slather this on while you wait for your double espresso to brew. It saturates skin with water-attracting molecules to quickly plump up the surface, while the secret ingredient – red tree sap ?perks up a faded pallor in seconds.
