Using L’Oréal Professionnel and Kérastase, the award-winning team at Brown Sugar create dramatic looks that will more than measure up to the most Haute-worthy of occasions.
Since its launch in 2005, Brown Sugar by Sugar Culture has revolutionised hairdressing in Ireland by combining high-end hair and makeup under the same roof; firstly on South William Street, before expanding into Blackrock and Ranelagh, Sugar Culture and Sugar Daddy, the men’s premium barber shop. 2016 saw the opening of the Sugar Culture Institute for Hair & Make-up, an exciting training opportunity for junior hairdressers.
All salons use a selection of products from ranges Kérastase, Shu Uemura Art of Hair and L'Oréal Professionnel. Brown Sugar has frequently received awards, and in 2010 and 2015, created headline shows for the annual Irish L'Oréal Colour Trophy Awards. The Sugar Culture tribe also won big at the annual IMAGE Business of Beauty Awards, with Roy Leigh winning Best Hairstylist in 2015, chief executive Mark O’Keeffe winning Beauty Innovator of the Year in 2016, and trainee Shannon Mulligan winning Best Bloody Brilliant Blow-dry in 2017.
