The 2016 Oscars held no shortage of gorgeous red carpet fashion, which were complemented by equally stunning hair and make-up. From the classic looks such as Julianne Moore’s nude make-up and Rooney Mara’s deep plum lip, there was scarcely a look that didn’t work. In terms of hair, loose waves proved popular as did braided up-dos, with both Olivia Wilde and Chrissy Teigen opting for a plated style. It was very much a case of less-is-more as you’ll see from our gallery above.
