Would you try an intuitive massage?

Would you try an intuitive massage?

Looking for something more from your beauty treatments? Want glowing spirits as well as face and body? Need a reboot of mojo, but your muscles ache too? Melanie Morris might have the solution…

Holistic beauty is having a moment. From jade face rollers to the rejuvenating power of acupuncture needles, it’s becoming more and more usual to find conventional beauty treatments being powered up by crystals, reiki and other complementary forms of beauty. As the seasons change, maybe it’s time to dial-up your regular routine and try a shot of something spiritual. Or best of all, combine science and something holistic to see the benefits both can bring in tandem.

INTUITIVE MASSAGE

WHAT IS IT?

A totally bespoke massage treatment, where the therapist incorporates different techniques and styles, and dedicates time to the parts of the body that need massage most.

WHO’S IT FOR?

Those with specific aches and tightness and those fed up with more generic massage treatments.

WHAT’S INVOLVED?

Therapist Fiona Quirk has been practising as a massage therapist for more than seven years, and while it doesn’t take that long to realise that no two clients are the same, she’s one of a rare breed who will tailor a treatment exactly to an individual’s specific requirements, right there and then. Combining a number of techniques, including Thai massage, Swedish, deep tissue, pressure point, Indian head massage and reflexology, Fiona works around the body, smoothing out knots, relaxing muscles and helping remove tension – she’s super-good at this; after one treatment, so much of my sports stiffness was gone.

ANYTHING ELSE?

Fiona, an experienced, level-3 reiki master may include reiki into a session to heal and/or boost energy levels.

PRICE

€60 for a one-hour treatment.
