My day in beauty with celebrity facialist Michaella Bolder

My day in beauty with celebrity facialist Michaella Bolder

Michaella Bolder is one of the most in-demand facialists, tanners and skin finishers in the international beauty industry, counting Dame Helen Mirren, Elle MacPherson and Salma Hayek as just some of her celeb clients. I was desperate to find out what her own personal beauty must-haves are…

“My day to day routine always starts with a cup of hot water and lemon while I run through my emails and messages,” Michaella told me. “My beauty routine will be a swift cleanse, serum application, day cream with a mix of oil (for my dry skin in winter) finished with a drop of SPF. I always leave five minutes or so in between product applications to allow each product to work without overloading layers.”

“My handbag will always have a tube of PawPaw or Eight Hour Cream for any skin emergencies, and a nourishing lip balm.”
