Today’s the day – the IMAGE Beauty Festival, powered by Samsung, kicks off this morning at Point Square, Dublin. Here’s a run-down of what’s happening on each stage, as well as the experiences and beauty treatments on offer
For the last few months, IMAGE HQ has been working hard to bring a veritable feast of beauty, brands, trends, treats and talent to create the IMAGE Beauty Festival; the best weekend ever for beauty lovers in Ireland.
Get ready for a weekend of beauty pampering; masterclasses; workshops; complimentary treatments; mingling with beauty heavy-hitters, and a glorious free gift bag filled with over €100 worth of IMAGE-approved beauty heroes.

If you’ve already nabbed your tickets and are looking forward to the day/weekend ahead, here’s today’s full line-up of talks, demos, experiences and treatments:
Boots Beauty Stage
10:30 am – Dream Team
James Patrice and Tara O’Farrell team up to deliver a fresh take on summer makeovers. Join the fun at our Boots Beauty Stage as make-up pro Tara performs a live model make-up demo, and James Patrice offers his unique take on proceedings (talk about Instagram gold). This demo is free of charge, but registration is required.
12 pm – Beauty & Travel
Nadia El Feradoussi’s career has transformed from make-up artistry to beauty editor, to travel influencer. She’s staying-put in Ireland long enough to host this unique presentation on how to protect your skin and update your make-up bag while on the go. Join her for some genius insights ahead of your holidays. Free of charge, but registration is required.
2 pm – High Street Beauty Loves
Join celebrity make-up artist Christine Lucignano as she shares her top picks from the high street. With over three decades at the forefront of beauty, she has worked in editorial, advertising, catwalk and has painted many famous faces from Gisele to Clint Eastwood, Bill Clinton to Elizabeth Taylor, to name just a few. Free of charge, but registration is required.
Samsung Beauty Theatre
11:15 am – Perfectly Imperfect
Embracing beauty in all its shapes and forms. Writer, cook and podcast host Sophie White hosts a stellar panel of comedienne Joanne McNally, journalist Niamh O’Donoghue, television presenter Nadine Reid and Getty Image’s Jacqueline Bourke; all of whom will weigh in on why it’s time to stop giving women labels in 2019. Free of charge, but registration is required.
1 pm – So you want to be a beauty influencer
What does it take to turn ‘likes’ into lolly and loot? Join talent manager Jules Fallon, and leading Irish beauty influencers Triona McCarthy and Rosie Connolly-Quinn as they discuss social media perks and pitfalls.
2:30 pm – My life through beauty
Join Vogue Williams as she reveals the make-up, skincare and scents that have seen her through the landmarks of her life. Free of charge, but registration is required.

Meet the pros who create some of the hottest red carpet looks both at home and abroad. Our expert panel has all the secrets. LA-based make-up artist Patrick Ta joins Adam Reed, L’Oréal Professionnel UK Editorial Ambassador and one of Ireland’s most in-demand session stylists David Cashman. Free of charge, but registration is required.
5:15 pm – Face-off
Michelle Regazolli vs Aimee Connolly. Two celebrity MUAs, two very different looks, one lively session! Free of charge, but registration is required.
Wellness Zone
10:30 am – Morning Flow Yoga
Start the day with a little mindful meditation and movement with award-winning yoga instructor Sinéad Mooney (@moonsyoga). Free of charge, but registration is required.
12 pm – Guided Meditation
Award-winning yoga instructor Sinéad Mooney will lead a 30-minute guided meditation, boosting tissue and cell repair, giving your skin a fresh, youthful glow. Free of charge, but registration is required.
Complimentary services
Indulge in an incredible offering of complimentary services throughout the day for the ultimate beauty day out. Experts in the industry will be on hand to offer you helpful hints and beauty tips as you sit back, relax and get pampered by the professionals (we’re talking pedicures, blow-dries and more) free of charge. It’s a beauty lover’s dream!
Entertainment
This two-day beauty extravaganza will be jam-packed with experiential activations and demonstrations for you to engage with throughout your visit. Create lasting memories with friends; become a ‘cover girl’ for the day and capture the perfect snap in our glamorous IMAGE photo-op areas. Or, sit back and relax listening to live DJs in the IMAGE Beauty Festival chill-out zone.
