5 autumn boots on our list for the upcoming season

Autumn is here and it’s time to think about autumn boots. Here are five pairs on our wishlist for the upcoming season

As we approach mid-September, it’s time to start thinking about the autumn wardrobe.

And one of the key elements of an autumnal closet is the boot.

Worn almost every day with everything, investing in a good pair of boots is a wise business decision.

Each year we are bombarded with choice, but for autumn 2020, there are five pairs in particular that we want to debut with our best outfits.

ASOS Design Elodie premium leather square toe heeled boots, €117.99 at Topshop

If unsure about the best boot to purchase, one can never go wrong with a black pair and the ASOS Design Elodie boots are top of our list. The curved heel adds a wonderful point of difference, while the square toe keeps them classic.

UO Vix knee high brown boots, €139 at Urban Outfitters

These boots are the shoe incarnation of Penny Lane from Almost Famous. The suede, the platform and wooden heel are projecting 1970s groupie vibes and we want to be a part of it.

Lace-up leather high heel ankle boots, €59.95 at Zara

These victorian inspired ankle boots were big news last autumn and the story hasn’t changed one year later. Adding elegance to any look, they look especially stunning when worn under a midi dress.

Lace-up leather boots, €119.99 at Mango

Though not for everyone, platform biker boots are here to stay. This Prada inspired pair from Mango look scary at first glance, but it’s all about how you style them. Wear with flowing dresses and midi skirts to add an edge to a feminine look.

Amelia white ankle boot, €350 at Aeyde

Aeyde is renowned for its ankle boots and this white duo is a wonderful nod to the 1960s. Pair with a matching skirt and blazer for a look Twiggy herself would be proud of. The low heel means maximum comfort and wearability too.
