IMAGE Competitions Terms and Conditions

 

  1. The competition is open to residents in Ireland aged 18 or over, excluding employees IMAGE Publications, their families, their agencies or anyone professionally connected to a competition. Any entrant who fails to comply with the entry instructions set out in these terms and conditions will be automatically disqualified from the competition.
  2. Closing date for submissions may be changed at the sole discretion of IMAGE Publications Limited.
  3. Prizes must be claimed within 7 days, or in specified time outlined on competition. If the prize is not claimed within the time specified, the winner will forfeit their prize and another winner will be chosen at random.
  4. IMAGE Publications Limited holds no responsibility if account details are missing or incorrect. Incomplete, illegible or late entries will not be accepted.
  5. No responsibility will be accepted for entries lost or delayed in the course of transmission, nor for any associated costs to claimants.
  6. Only one entry is allowed per unique email address, unless otherwise stated. Multiple entries will not be accepted.
  7. IMAGE Publications Limited’ decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into with entries that do not comply in full with these rules will be disqualified.
  8. In cases where a cash alternative is offered, this is solely at the election of IMAGE Publications Limited and will be offered as an option to the prizewinner. The prize winner is solely responsible for any taxation-related implications for accepting a cash alternative. In no cases will IMAGE Publications Limited be obliged to offer a cash alternative.
  9. IMAGE Publications Limited reserves the right to substitute a prize of equivalent or comparable value should this become necessary for reasons beyond our control.
  10. IMAGE Publications Limited reserves the right to alter, amend or end any competition without prior notice in the event that circumstances make this unavoidable.
  11. IMAGE Publications Limited accepts no responsibility for undelivered, uncollected or damaged prizes sent through the postal system.
  12. Vouchers - if they constitute a prize or part of it - have a date of usage – it is the winner’s responsibility to use the voucher within the dates of usage. Hotel vouchers will state what is covered by the hotel – extras such as room service, mini-bar, beauty and spa services etc are generally not covered unless expressly stated on the hotel voucher.
  13. Allocation of prizes to winners will be on a random basis, unless the prize is location specific in which case prizes will be drawn on a random basis according to IMAGE Publications Limited sole determination.
  14. All offers are subject to availability.
  15. Winners may be asked to participate in any promotional activities that may be organised by IMAGE Publications Limited in connection with the competition without any further consent or payment.
  16. Images and text which accompany entries become the sole property of IMAGE Publications Limited and by entering the competition hereby give an unrestricted licence to IMAGE Publications Limited to use such images and text. Images and text which are copied from other websites are not eligible for entry and will be disqualified.
  17. The competition and these terms and conditions shall be governed by Irish law and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Ireland.
  18. To the extent as permitted by Irish law, IMAGE Publications Limited excludes all liability for any loss, damage or injury to the winner in connection with the competition.
