2017’s Wedding Palette of the Year: How to Go Green

December saw the announcement of Pantone’s Colour of the Year 2017 and this year’s wedding palettes are all the fresher for it. According to Pantone, Greenery is about ?unity and community – connecting to oneself and others and a higher purpose, nature.? To the rest of us, it’s a vibrant yellow-green hue, evocative of fresh growth and healthy lifestyles; and it creates the perfect vibe for a spring or summer bash. Though many colour combos work (we do like it alongside Pale Dogwood), Greenery is at its strongest when the theme is kept monotone, using botanical textures and painterly lines against a white background, to really amplify all that vividness. Keep things simple, taking your inspiration from how this shade appears in the great outdoors; think climbing plants, wildflower fields, ripe limes? and, of course, super on-trend manicures.
