The Sleeper bridal collection is perfect for the bride who wants something simple yet beautiful

Loved by fashion editors all over, the Kiev-based label Sleeper has released a minimalistic bridal collection that modern brides will adore

I was first introduced to the brand Sleeper by our lovely Social Media Manager Sophie.

She wore a pair of the brand’s famous party pyjama sets to the Businesswoman of the Year awards and her outfit was one of the highlights of the night.

The Kiev-based label was created in 2014 by former magazine editors Kate Zubarieva and Asya Varetsa. They created what they call “walking sleepwear” meaning the pieces work just as well at bedtime as they do for a party.

Their vision is fashion with a sense of fun. Most of the pieces are lined with textures such as feathers for an elevated look and when you see the pieces on, you can’t help but smile.

Minimalistic fun

And now Sleeper is venturing into the world of bridal. Speaking to Vogue, the creators said this wasn’t their idea, it was a client’s moment of inspiration: “A customer sent us an email, because we didn’t have an online shop at the time… She wrote, ‘I really want this silk white dress because I am having a wedding in a few months.’”

Thus, they created a line of bridal wear with a minimalistic beauty which will appeal to brides who want something different but without the fuss. From beautiful slip dresses to feather trim pyjamas, the simplicity of each piece adds to its beauty.

The price point is also unique: with Sleeper you won’t have to dig too deep in the pockets with the most expensive piece priced at €420.

Our favourite is the whitewing linen cape, it’s almost whimsical design means it’s the perfect cover-up for your big day.
