15 pairs of stunning shoes to wear to that wedding (and the rest of the year)

15 pairs of stunning shoes to wear to that wedding (and the rest of the year)

I recently attended my first wedding. It was beautiful and romantic and everything weddings are supposed to be. Except, while I sipped on bubbles with a smile on my face, the divil himself was escaping from the soles of my feet; sending pain searing through my body for the entire day. My poor, nay horrendous, choice of wedding guest shoe made the day laborious: my cousins’ walk up the aisle seem never-ending and, being someone who loves a dance floor, I dreaded the thought of the added pressure on my growing blisters.

While I came away from my first wedding with life-long memories, I also came home with bunions and sores because of my poor choice of footwear. It’s easy to get caught up in the wedding whirlwind and forget to think about the very thing that will carry you from very early morning to very late night. What’s more, it can be hard splurging on a new pair of heels when you have so many others on standby in the wardrobe. But, you know what, when it comes to wedding guest footwear, comfort is essential, and when the bride needs you at 4am, you want to be able to run to her assistance. It’s worth noting too that in the unlikely (or likely?) event of a spillage on your outfit that evening, your killer shoes will act as the perfect distraction from stain-city.

For the next wedding, don’t compromise style for comfort. Instead, choose a pair that will carry you through while adding that final special something to your ensemble.
