Watch: Gorilla Befriends Tiny Kittens And It Is Beyond Adorable

If you’re looking for something to truly make your weekend, we have found it for you. If we had to make a list of ?gifts we’d love to get? on our Birthday, a box of tiny, fluffy kittens would top it every time.

This is exactly what Koko the Gorilla got for her 44th Birthday. Koko is part of a 40-year study into interspecies communication and is known for learning American Sign Language. In a video posted by the Gorilla Foundation, we see Koko adorably begin to bond with two particular kittens after the video reveals she ?loves babies?. But, as gorilla babies can be hard to come by, they decided to give her some furry friends to play with, and the results are as cute as you’d expect.

In particular, the gorilla starts to bond with a kitten named Ms Gray and even asks that she [the kitten] be placed on top of her head. As you do. An equally cute kitten named Ms Black soon demands similar attention and all three have a whale of a time together.

?Koko has adopted these two kittens into her family, and it has energised her world,? according to the YouTube video.

?Not only have Koko’s maternal and play instincts kicked in, but she is signing more to her caregivers and generating new content everyday This encourages the development of 2-way communication with their caregivers (which Koko has had since she was a baby).?

Watch it below for all the Saturday Morning feels.
