Little Green Spoon’s Nutella Protein Balls

Little Green Spoon’s Nutella Protein Balls

Sometimes it’s hard to get enough protein in to your diet and these nutella?protein balls are such a delicious way to sneak some more in.?They only take a few minutes to make and are full of protein and’magnesium making them the ideal post workout treat! They’re incredible if?you’re in the mood for something a little more indulgent without the guilt.

Ingredients:
makes 8-10
1 Cup of Hazelnuts
1 Cup of Dates
1 Scoop of Vanilla Protein Powder (I use Sunwarrior Warrior Blend)
1 Tablespoon of Cacao Powder
  1. ?Pour boiling water over the dates and leave the to soak for about 5’minutes. Dry roast the hazelnuts at 180’C for about 10 minutes. Then rub?them around in a clean kitchen towel to remove any of the loose shells.
  2. ?Add the hazelnuts and dates to your blender and blitz until they break’down, combine and then start to clump together.
  3. ?Then add in the protein and cacao powder and blitz until it starts to get?crumbly and then clump together again. Make sure to scrape down the’sides a few times so that it blends evenly.
  4. ?Use your hands to squish and roll the mixture into balls. I made balls that?were quite big (about golfball size) so I got 8 out of the mixture, if you make’smaller ones you could get 10-12.
