Calling all who bake (and those who wish they could): the Great British Bake Off is back tonight (yay!), and hence our Wednesday nights will be filled with the glares of Paul Hollywood, the twinkle of Mary Berry, soggy bottoms and cake, delicious cake. With recipes like brown butter and pistachio doughnuts (a personal favourite), you’ll get absorbed in her feed for hours and be tempted to put on your baker’s hat too we bet.

Whenever we weren’t moaning about Carrie’s grossly unrealistic writer lifestyle in SATC, we couldn’t help but notice the ladies lunched and brunched a whole lot. We lost count of the cocktails consumed, but everyone remembers Magnolia Bakery. Remember when Carrie and Miranda got cupcakes and chatted about Aidan?
