1 In 3 Vegetarians Eat Meat When Drunk New Survey Says

1 In 3 Vegetarians Eat Meat When Drunk New Survey Says

We’ve all fallen prey to the rashers for breakfast, lunch and dinner after an extended night out, and now it seems that vegetarians have also been lured by the tastiness of cooked animals.

In recent days, a survey revealed that 1 in 3 vegetarians eat meat when drunk. A UK coupon website asked 1789 vegetarians, ?When drunk, do you ever eat meat?? 37% said yes in response to the somewhat controversial message. The most popular meat to cheat with was kebab, with 39% of that 37% saying that was their vice of choice. Beef burgers came second, with 34% and bacon was 27%. Fried chicken was in fourth place – blame the greasy snack box – and pork sausages were 14%. Hungry?

Perhaps the most amusing survey result was how 69% of vegetarian drunk cheaters said they never told anyone else about eating meat. How much kale chases the guilt away?

If you’re feeling a bit disappointed about any weekend chipper transgressions, here are some vegetarian dishes we here at IMAGE.ie love.
