A neutral palette is a clever way to give a cohesive, considered feel to an eclectic collection. So, if you want to’master grown-up boho, take a leaf out of Galway creative and restaurateur Aoibheann MacNamara’s book and keep it simple?

It is tempting to go overboard with ethnic fabrics and accessories but paring back and adding small touches here and there is far more effective. Aoibheann has opted for a neutral palette of greys and whites and lets her Nordic and Moroccan accessories and impressive art collection do the talking in her converted carpenter’s workshop. This is an excellent way to bring colour and personality into any space and allows you to change up the look and feel easily for any mood or occasion.

A well thought-out and strongly adhered to colour palette will go a long way to?tying a space together. Using similar materials in different rooms such as concrete, sheepskins and light woods is effective in creating unity and a signature style for your home.
