We love to bask in the (brief) summer heat as much as the next Irish person, but when it comes to our homes, we favour a cool-headed approach. Here’s how it’s done…

Drawing inspiration from the spring/summer 2015 fashion catwalks, we are all over beautiful icy blues and cool greys combined with minty greens for an utterly tranquil mood.

To introduce the trend into your interior, layer icy blues and pastel hues for a clean, calm finish, and keep the pattern and forms minimal. Matte finishes are key for this look, but gold metallics complement it perfectly.

Click through the gallery above for 10 items that will keep your home composed and together, no matter the temperature.

Knitted greys add some warmth to this look. See our list of 5 Irish textile studios to follow on Instagram for inspiration.
