A COLOURFUL MIX

Last Thursday saw the unveiling of the Harvey Nichols Spring Summer 2010 collection, a conceptual show based on the work of Austrian artist Herman Nitch. Guests were treated to champagne as they made their way to the über cool industrial venue, which was transformed into a creative stage-set of colour and paintwork. The show was the first collaboration with artist Helen Steele, who created the set, music and video performance. Models stormed the catwalk wearing designs by Alexander McQueen, Christopher Kane, Vivienne Westwood and Sonia Rykiel, all styled by IMAGE gal Paula Hughes. After the show, many a cocktail was had in the First Floor Restaurant as we made our edits.
