COUTURE FOUTURE

There was no sign of a recession in Paris during the most glamorous week of the year. As usual, Haute Couture Fashion Week brought as many gasps as applause, when the crème de la crème of fashion design showcased their collections. At Givenchy, Riccardo Tisci took his inspiration from the streets of 1970s Paris, with Bowie-esque tailoring. Karl Lagerfeld closed his show for Chanel with Neon Baroque silhouettes. While Galliano took a bow after his collection dazzled the crowd at Christian Dior. Spotted in the crowd by IMAGE spies were Jamie Hince and Kate Moss looking slightly grey (what’s going on with her hair??), über-glamorous Dita von Teese and former IMAGE cover girl Anna Hathaway. Signing out for now.
