Everyone has their own little obsessions in life; some have a thing about shoes, others buy the same variation of red lipstick over and over and then there’s those splurge on underwear even though they always end up wearing the same four or five pairs regardless. I fall into the latter group. I’m obsessed with buying new lingerie, even if I don’t wear it right away. But I’m picky and I don’t like paying too much or too little for a set – I focus on getting quality and value for money – often easier said than done. Perhaps that’s why I’ve always loved ?Rosie Huntington-Whiteley’s M&S Lingerie Collection. It looks and feels beautiful to wear, the quality is there and the price point is reasonable enough in that you know the underwear is a treat but you don’t feel guilty for buying it, you just feel like you deserve it.

This September sees the launch of the?Rosie for Autograph Autumn Winter 17 collection, marking the five-year celebration of the brand, which launched in 2012. Rosie has worked collaboratively alongside Soozie Jenkinson and the lingerie team to develop a collection that now spans lingerie, sleepwear and loungewear; with the introduction of new styles in luxe fabrications and hero pieces reimagined seasonally, keeping more-or-less the same price points as previous collections. Pieces start at just over €17 and go up to €65 and over.

The whole collection is autumnal;?we see the reintroduction of the popular pistachio colourway – a key colour in the debut collection. Other colours include deep purples and champagne golds combined with luxurious fabrics. French designed lace and fluid silks are layered together and combined with tactile cashmere and jersey in sleepwear to complete the collection. New season styles include the bralet?- the’real star of the collection – chemise and camisole.

Soozie Jenkinson, Head of Lingerie, Swim & Active Design explained that the AW collection was designed with a?lavish yet modernist feel in mind and with its painted rose florals and deep berry and champagne tones, it’s the perfect colour palette for the upcoming season.

The Rosie for Autograph Autumn Winter collection is?available in-store and online atwww.marksandspencer.ie?now and you can see some of the collection in our gallery above.
