Think fashion week was over? Think again. The trendsetters and jet-setters have arrived in the Russian capital of Moscow this week for the next leg of the Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week.
When does fashion week cycle actually end? Officially not until October ? which is when all the dominant fashion houses prepare to show for the next season. So really, it never ends – but the vast majority of people only choose to report on influential cities like New York, Tokyo, Berlin, and London. Although it maintains low-key appearance, Russia Fashion Week is significantly important both culturally to Russia and to the wider fashion community. This is particularly obvious with post-soviet fashion designers (like’streetwear mogul Gosha Rubchinskiy, and modern and chic designers Ulyana Sergeenko and?Lesia Paramonova) whose design and lifestyle highly influence Western culture.
