How To Wear: Sequins In Spring

How To Wear: Sequins In Spring

Although traditionally associated with glamorous soire’s after dark, this season sees sequins re-enter the frame in the light of day. Style setters shined bright in everything from shimmering skirts and glittering gowns to the most sparkling of overalls. I love how the Italian brand, Au Jour Le Jour, dressed down their sequin and floral combination by layering an oversized, crisp white shirt underneath. The pointed toe adds to the cool factor. And while light wash denim, free-flowing silhouettes and graphic prints are another great way to work off-duty sequins, try a sequin clutch, shoe or neckpiece to ease yourself into this trend.
