Festival Season is Coming…

Festival Season is Coming…

The Irish Summer highlight simply IS Electric Picnic. This year the festival takes place from Friday the 4th until Sunday the 6th of September, and with acts like Belle & Sebastian, George Ezra and The War on Drugs. Already confirmed, you really need to make plans.

Three, who are sponsoring Electric Picnic for the next four?years, are offering their customers the chance to avail of presale tickets.?If you’ve been savvy and reading the business pages, you’ll know that O2 customers may also apply. Considering the festival sold out the last two years, it’ll be pretty sweet to seal the deal this early on. You can sign up by texting?MUSIC to 51020. For music fans already registered, simply text?ELECTRIC to 51020 to purchase on Monday the 2nd of March, at 9am prior to general release on Wednesday, 4th.

And once you have the ticket sorted you can start assembling that wardrobe. Top tips from us veterans? Avoid fringe as you’ll just find yourself tied to a manic sort in the pit. If you’re thinking of working the Broderie Anglaise look, you’re a braver woman that most because grass is one difficult stain. Too many layers means lost layers. Carry a pair of tights in your handbag at all times, because nothing beats smug pins as the dawn light bleeds through when trying to find your tent.

Last week at the Clerys fashion show we spotted the perfect ensmble for such gallivanting, see above. The whole outfit is from?Joules and is available in store now.

To avail of presale tickets to Electric Picnic, and for upcoming news of gigs in 3Arena, visit?www.three.ie/music
