Best Dressed Of The Week: Kate Middleton, Blake Lively & Cate Blanchett

The less said about the GRAMMYs the better. Looking back, the BAFTAs weren’t exactly a parade of fashion hits. However, NYFW front rowers knocked it out of the park. Respect and envy due to the following gals:

NEW YORK, NY - FEBRUARY 17: Model Karen Elson attends the Marchesa Fall 2016 fashion show during New York Fashion Week: The Shows at The Dock, Skylight at Moynihan Station on February 17, 2016 in New York City. (Photo by Nicholas Hunt/Getty Images for NYFW: The Shows)

Karen Elson dressed for the Marchesa front row like she was the character in a Gosford Park-eque movie who was going to get the guy who isn’t her husband in the end, or she was the poisoner all along. Either way, 100% fab.

NEW YORK, NY - FEBRUARY 18: Editor-in-chief of American Vogue, Anna Wintour and Bee Shaffer attend the Marc Jacobs Fall 2016 fashion show during New York Fashion Week at Park Avenue Armory on February 18, 2016 in New York City. (Photo by Dimitrios Kambouris/Getty Images for Marc Jacobs)

Very into the fact Anna Wintour wore a Hillary tee to Marc Jacobs. High-powered women supporting high-powered women FTW. Also love Bee Shaffer’s shoes and work dress combination. That girl is ticking boxes.

NEW YORK, NY - FEBRUARY 18: Actress Maggie Gyllenhaal attends the Marc Jacobs Fall 2016 fashion show during New York Fashion Week at Park Avenue Armory on February 18, 2016 in New York City. (Photo by Jamie McCarthy/Getty Images for Marc Jacobs)

Maggie Gyllenhall is taking risks here at the Marc Jacobs NYFW show, and we like it. Ringleader of quirk in those pants.

NEW YORK, NY - FEBRUARY 18: Actress Christina Ricci attends the Marc Jacobs Fall 2016 fashion show during New York Fashion Week at Park Avenue Armory on February 18, 2016 in New York City. (Photo by Dimitrios Kambouris/Getty Images for Marc Jacobs)

Love the simplicity of Christina Ricci at the same presentation.

DIMITRIOS KAMBOURIS

Naomie Harris at Michael Kors shows us that black and white can be the most pleasing. Adore her ability to wear a coat like a cloak and not a I’m-sitting-in-my-living-room-and-it-is-freezing blanket.

Blake Lively is the patron saint of demure at Michael Kors.

LONDON, ENGLAND - FEBRUARY 17: Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge talks to children from the'Real Truth' video blog that features on the Huffington Post website at Kensington Palace on February 17, 2016 in London, England. Kate Middleton guest-edited The Huffington Post this week and wore the perfect I’m-a-journalist-now white shirt.

A GRAMMYs dress which didn’t upset me. Thank you Bella Hadid.

attends the EE British Academy Film Awards at the Royal Opera House on February 14, 2016 in London, England.

And finally, Cate Blanchett was the only BAFTA dress that stayed with us in the days following the big event. Twas Alexander McQueen, of course.
