9 Investment Shoes

As part of?our fashion investment series, this week we’re all about shoes. Beyond just getting from A to B, or keeping our toes nice and toasty, the modern woman needs several’different pairs to fit all of the different occasions from Monday right through Sunday. While certain shoes will come and go (in the bin), there’s something materialistically great about the kismet of finding the perfect pair, even if their price isn’t exactly budget friendly. These more precious shoes will only make an appearance every now and then, keeping them as good as new and as loved as the day you bought them.

Now, we know that buying designer shoes can burn quite a hole in your pocket, so for those who want the high street alternative, we give you a more affordable alternative to each designer shoe below. However, if?you’re?prepared to save up for the real deal, a fabulous will accompany you through life. Live that Carrie Bradshaw dream.

shoes 1

Lilyth 120 peep toe,??695, Jimmy Choo – Fifi Faux Fur peep toe, €30, Boohoo.com

Jimmy Choos =?footwear perfection. Classic with a bit of a twist is Choo’s MO, and these velvet darlings will turn any plain outfit into a sophisticated twirl of glamour. This shoe boasts?luxurious velvet paired with delicate tulle, which can be moved around the’strap and styled whichever way you please.

shoes 12

Rockstud Ankle Strap, €700, Valentino – Studded T-Strap,?$35, lulus.com

These classic Valentino shoes are ideal?for everyday wear at the office and work just as well for a night out on the tiles.

3

Wedge Sandals, €135 on sale at €75, Topshop.com – Wedge Sandal, €485,?Louboutin

The perfect summer wedge is often a tiresome task, fraught with disappointment. However, these sky-high Louboutin platform shoes are the answer to all your I-can-actually-walk! prayers.

shoes 4

Suede Sandals, €495, Miu Miu – Suede Platform Heels, €55, Riverisland.com

These Miu Miu beauties are for party girls, who have a lot of euro to spare. Brgundy is the must-wear colour?for the autumn/winter and these beauties feed into the 1990s trend that shows no sign of disappearing.

shoes 6

Camille Ballerina, €210, Repetto – Ballerina, €51, Andr?

Repetto ballet shoes are by far the most comfortable flat shoes you will ever wear. We especially love the patent finish that adds femininity to?boyfriend jeans, skinny jeans or a shift dress.

shoes 7

Classic Jane, €495, Yves Saint Laurent – Heeled Sandals, €55.30, Asos

Nothing says Parisian chic more than Yves Saint Laurent. These can be an everyday shoe, especially when worn with trousers, but they can also dress up the simplest of ensembles.

shoes 8

Fringed Sandals, Chlo? – Heeled Sandals, €55.30, Asos

These Chlo? shoes are a little edgy and have what we call character. Fringes are all over next season’s crop of must-haves, so embrace them on your feet if jackets catching in door handles scare your cotton socks.

shoes 9

Decollet?, €515, Louboutin – Blue Heeled Shoes, €27.64, Asos

Louboutin is the saint and saviour of shoes. The icon knows what he’s doing. These perfect little pumps will look amazing with just about anything.
