Cineworld’s Imax cinema was packed to capacity with Alien fans on Tuesday evening of the special preview screening of Alien: Covenant.

The film which stars Irish actor Michael Fassbender and Katherine Waterston sees the crew of the colony ship Covenant?bound for a remote planet on the far side of the galaxy, discovering what they think is an uncharted paradise, but is actually a dark, dangerous world. When they uncover a threat beyond their imagination, they must attempt a harrowing escape.

Guests spotted at the screening included, Rex Ryan and Elliott Ryan, Gail Kaneswaran, brothers Kelly, Cormac Moore and Luke O Faolain, RTE’s Stephen Byrne, model Carl Shaaban, Dillon St Paul as well as Radio Nova’s Siobhan McDonnell and Conor Irwin.
