Wednesday night saw the official launch party of The Rolling Donut’s southside store, located on?55 South Kings Street.

Not only do The Rolling Donut serve Dublin’s only vegan donuts?- they have seven vegan flavours – you can also buy’signature?hand-crafted, sourdough donuts?and artisan coffee by Coffee Culture from Birdhill, Co. Limerick.

The Rolling Donut is an Irish, family-run business, and all donuts are freshly baked every day and paired with The Rolling Donut’s homemade signature compotes, fillings and glazes.

Last nights launch brought together Dublin’s most renowned foodies, bloggers, and Snapchat stars alike, for an evening of The Rolling Donut’s Mini Donuts and Cocktails provided by Bloom Gin and Dubliner Whiskey. The store welcomed Snapchat stars Rob Kenny and Paddy Smyth, along with 50 Ways to Kill Your Mammy star Baz Ashmawy.

The menu for the evening included’donuts in popular flavours such as Baileys Bliss?,?a baileys infused cream filling paired with a Oreo biscuit crumble; and the??Molly Malone?,?an apple and cinnamon combination topped with vanilla glaze and biscuit crumble. ?Pistachio Salted Caramel?,?a luxurious homemade salted caramel with a sprinkle of pistachio – the most salted caramely thing we have ever tasted; the??Raspberry Ripple?,?which offers?raspberrys?on a bed of white chocolate ganache; and the?ever loved Dub with a vanilla cream filling and decadent chocolate ganache.

The Rolling Donut was founded almost four decades ago by Michael Quinlan, who has passed his specialist skills in producing decadent donuts on to his daughters Lisa and Aimee. The sisters spent the majority of their childhood and teenage years learning all the tricks of the trade, from ingredients to baking and regular tasting, and have worked closely with their dad over the past number of years to grow The Rolling Donut brand.
