Over 250 women across Ireland’s business, media and fashion industries gathered recently for Womankind, a charity lunch and fashion show in aid of the Dublin Rape Crisis Centre.
The annual event which took place at Dublin’s Intercontinental Hotel, saw guests enjoy a three-course lunch, followed by a showcase of 2017 autumn/winter trends. The fashion show, which was choreographed by Cathy O’ Connor, styled by Irene O’Brien and hosted by Lorraine Keane, featured boutiques including Avoca, Frock N Fabulous, JuJu and & Vedoneire. Hair and make-up was provided by Dylan Bradshaw.
On the day, Noeleen Blackwell, CEO of the Dublin Rape Crisis Centre spoke at length about the support available to victims of sexual violence, as well as the incredible work carried out by staff at the Dublin-based centre.
All involved donated their time and services free of charge and as well as spot prizes on the day, every guest received a goodie bag from Newbridge Silverware.
