RHA Hennessy Lost Fridays have returned to the RHA Gallery, Ely Place for 2017 with the firsinstalmentnt of this special night taking place last Friday, 3rd March. Guests experienced a night like no other, with a carefully selected blend of Ireland’s most cutting edge and dynamic artists, musicians, poets and creatives spread across the RHA’s stunning gallery spaces.

Guests immersed? in innovative creative talent, including a magical spoken word performance from John Cummins; live music flanked by dancers and signature visuals from Bad Bones; a Valerie Francis performance drawing on everything from old synths and harmoniums to horns, drums and strings; DJ sets from Lime and Fancy which proved to be all pleasure and no guilt; and interactive art from illustrator and animator Holly Pereira. Guests? also enjoyed guided tours of new RHA exhibitions featuring works from Joy Gerrard, Leah Hewson, Carey Clarke and the RHA Collection with RHA Director Patrick T. Murphy.

Interactive installations on the night included Hennessy’s Infinity Room; where guest got the chance to? get lost in floor to ceiling reflections as far as the eye can see. Guest also got the chance tp become a piece of art with the Future Words Project.

Hennessy’s expert mixologists created bespoke Hennessy cocktails, as well as hosting cocktail masterclasses. Cocktails included Hennessy & Ginger and Hennessy Sidecar (Hennessy, Cointreau and lemon juice). Hennessy was the first spirit to identify ginger as the perfect accompaniment, with the spice of ginger ale bringing out the natural spice of the world’s finest cognac. Guests on the night also enjoyed tastings from the Hennessy range, including Very Special, VSOP and X.O.
