2017 celebrates The Year of the Rooster, and as a sponsor of the Dublin Chinese New Year Festival for the past eight years, Kildare Village is currently hosting the exhibition in a space next to Le Pain Quotidien, throughout the Chinese New Year period. A celebration of Irish icons – Past and Present portrays some of the great influential Irish icons leading in their respective fields around the globe, including Arthur Guinness, Katie Taylor, Phil Lynott and Conor McGregor among others.?The launch was presented by the Korean-Chinese visual artist, Jin Yong and the Kildare Village team were delighted to welcome the Ambassador to the People’s Republic of China in Ireland, Yue Xiaoyong – as part of the Dublin Chinese New Year celebrations.
