Last Wednesday night, Veuve Clicquot joined Makers & Brothers to host a seasonal supper in the brand’s pop-up retail venue in Blackrock, Makers & Brothers, At Home. (We wrote about the shop here.) Throughout the night, guests sipped exquisite Veuve Clicquot champagne, including a decanted Demi Sec, from elegant cut crystal by J?Hill Standard.

Attendees included Caroline Sleiman, Mo?t Hennessy, Mark Legge, Jonathan Legge and Ciara Flood from Makers and Brothers, Anike Turner and Christopher Kelly from J. Hills, jeweller Natasha Sherling, stylist?Aisling Farinella,?fashion designer Sonya Lennon and U2 stylist?Sharon Blankson. The curated menu was composed of dishes by Eunice Power paired with Veuve Clicquot.?Julie Dupouy, Champagne ambassador for Mo?t Hennessy Champagne Ambassador, talked guests through the wines on the evening, each of which, was served in a unique hand cut J. Hills crystal glass.

Here’s a glimpse at the menu if you’re looking to have some jealousy incited? For starteres, a winter leaf salad, blood orange, roast hazelnut and smoked duck paired with Veuve Clicquot Yellow Label. The main was quail accompanied by Veuve Clicquot Vintage Ros? ?04. Humming bark cheese with railway bread and lady apples was enjoyed with Veuve Clicquot Vintage Blanc ?04, while the dessert of mascarpone, Morello cherries and ginger trifle was paired with Veuve Clicquot Demi Sec. The meal concluded with glasses of Hennessy XO with Bean & Goose’s chocolate slab of Winter Bark.
