Inside Kate And William’s Trip To India

All eyes were on the royal couple this week, as they made a seven-day visit to India and Bhutan, their first official overseas journey together since 2014. Starting in Mumbai on Sunday, they have since touched down in New Delhi, Kaziranga National Park in Assam (where they fed baby elephants and rhinos) and stayed at the Taj Mahal Palace hotel as well as participating in the springtime Bihu festival – a vibrant event full of song and dance. Sadly, their adorable children stayed at home (just think of the cute, family album-worthy pictures) as Kate lightheartedly told reporters George was a little “too naughty” to bring along.

During their whirlwind jaunt, Kate, as usual, has received much attention for her perfect travel wardrobe, which included a blue hand-beaded Jenny Packham gown, a white Peter Pan collar Emilia Wickstead dress and pieces from high-street favourites, Topshop, and Zara. ?Also, her hair has looked immaculate on every outing – no mean feat when you’re grappling?with 40-degree hit and 30% humidity.

Below, and in our gallery above, are highlights from their trip.

Trivia: Kate added ‘modesty panels? to this Temperly dress, for her meeting with India’s prime minister.
