We had one of our most luxurious events to date yesterday evening, at The Marker Hotel. The night was filled with gorgeous food, jewellery, conversation, and of course… Champagne!
Guests arrived at the lavish Marker Hotel last night where they were greeted with a Ruinart Champagne reception in the plush brasserie. Guests had the chance to mingle while enjoying capanpés of Oysters, Cheese Straws and Goujers which were beautifully paired with the Champagne. On display in the brasserie where the beautiful jewellery collections from Lulu Frost and Loulerlie. This set the tone perfectly for the luxurious night ahead.
Everybody took to their seat where they were met with a very generous gift from Lulu Frost, a pair of earrings or a beautiful necklace from the new collection as well as a delicious chocolate treat from Hazel Mountain Chocolate. As everyone settled in, IMAGE Editor-in-chief Melanie Morris opened the evening with a very warm welcome introducing Director of Sales and Marketing at The Marker Hotel, Roisin O’Sullivan who introduced Ruinart Brand Ambassador, Julie Dupouy to speak about the Champagne pairings, followed by Executive Chef, Gareth Mullins who spoke about the special menu for the evening. Melanie then introduced the lady of the hour, Lisa Salzer of Lulu Frost Jewellery.
The four-course meal was kicked off with a tomato and mozzarella amuse, followed by a mouth-watering first course of lobster raviolo followed be gambas and steak. After the delicious main course, Melanie lead an insightful question and answers session with Lisa herself who spoke about the importance of staying true to yourself and your own style as opposed to following robotic trends and most importantly, if it feels uncomfortable or you feel silly, it may be too much! The meal ended on a very sweet note with a divine strawberry and cucumber dessert.
After the exquisite meal, Louise Stokes of Loulerie invited the guests to shop the beautiful jewellery collections while enjoying delicious Hennessy Sidecar digestifs! She also announced the very exciting 10% discount on offer for the evening.
Guests left the marker hotel with bellies full of fine food and plenty of sparkle!
